Today marks 6 months married to my favorite person in the whole world💍❤️ We’ve faced many challenges in the past 6 months, but have faced them all together. Was just looking back at wedding photos and getting nostalgic🥲..I’m starting to get excited for our big postponed ceremony later this year! I may look like the runaway bride in these pics, but the real story is that it started to rain while we were taking pictures, and if you know Indiana, it can start to pour within seconds. So I sprinted away as fast as I could, carrying my six feet of unhemmed dress with me🏃‍♀️ It was quite a sight and everybody thought I was a little crazy, but if you pay that much for a dress you’ll do anything to protect it!😂 📷 @joshjphoto

Just sitting here contemplating 2020, the strangest 67 months of my life😅 but also feeling very grateful. This year I got to give my New Year’s kiss not to my boyfriend, but to my husband💍🥲 The best gift of 2020 by far. I just hope we can all find a little more normalcy in 2021. I miss the simplicity of life we all took for granted not too long ago. Our first Christmas as husband and wife and we’re enjoying every minute of it❤️ Did you go with a real tree or fake this year? We went with a real one which is a first for both of us. I’m obsessed with the smell and feel of a living plant in my house, don’t think I’ll ever go back🎄✨

I’ve really been feeling the love this week, and it’s been helping get through quarantine in a brand new city where I don’t know anyone yet. YouTube banned the comments on our whole channel about a year ago, so it’s been nice to have that connection back with you all again. Here’s to the future and hopefully lots more projects next year!

My latest Playmation Studios project...Netflix hired us to do a recreation of a scene from an upcoming Netflix original movie. Been working tirelessly on this for a month, it’s the highest budget and most ambitious project I’ve ever directed. It was such an amazing opportunity, I delayed my move to Texas and have spent 3 weeks away from my husband working on it. Yes with everything going on I also added my most difficult project to date...the last 6 weeks has been rough for sure. But, we wrapped shooting on Friday and I will finally be moving tomorrow!! I can’t wait for you all to see this when it comes out. It’s going to be something. 📷: @joshjphoto

8.1.20 • This was a whirlwind of a day. After months planning our wedding, we decided maybe 2 weeks before that we would get legally married on this Saturday. Our plans went from simply having an officiant sign the papers, to throwing together a small ceremony as our fears grew that we would not be able to have the real wedding at all. We wrote our own vows a few days before. We finished pre-marital counseling the day before. And on the night before, I tailored the sleeves of my dress myself so I could wear it😅 I couldn’t fix the length though, so as you see in the last pic, I had to carry it everywhere😂 Daniel told me that sadly his wedding suit couldn’t be tailored in time. But then he surprised me on the day of and showed up wearing it😭❤️ Best surprise ever. We decided to get married under a gazebo in the same park where we first took photos together. As we walked up, I could see all my family there all dressed up and waiting for us. It was so surreal. I started to tear up as I realized it was all coming together, and I really was getting married today. The ceremony was sweet, short, and perfect. We took some pictures and then went out for dinner with everyone. Then Daniel and I went home to spend our first married night together at my house that I share with 3 roommates😂 But it was wonderful still. So that’s the story of our wedding day. Not the story I was expecting to tell my kids one day, but I can feel how God is directing every step still. It’s been a rough journey but one that has grown us so much. And now our married life in Texas officially starts in 4 days. I cannot wait to begin our forever together💞
